How accurate is this, honestly?

IVF dating is the most accurate kind of pregnancy dating, because conception happens in a lab and the moment is recorded to the hour. The ±1 week range is for when labor actually starts — only about 4% of babies are born exactly on their due date, IVF or otherwise.
For day-3 transfers the embryo has been developing 3 days at the time of transfer; for day-5 (blastocyst) it's been 5 days. We add or subtract those days from the standard 266-day post-conception length.
