How we make money.

The calculators are free forever. We pay for the site with a small number of clearly labeled display ads, affiliate commissions on products we recommend, and optional paid products.

Affiliate programs

Product recommendations are editorial. If a retailer or registry link is monetized, we disclose that relationship near the link and here. If a program is not active, we hide the purchase link instead of sending you to a dead destination.

• Amazon Associates — product links may route through Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases when the program is active.
• Babylist — registry-related links may support the registry page when the program is active.
• Direct brand programs — selected brands we use ourselves. Any direct relationship is disclosed in context.

What this changes for you

Nothing on price — affiliate commissions are paid by the retailer, not by you. The price you pay is the same as buying the product directly.

What it never changes for us

We don\'t recommend products we wouldn\'t use ourselves. We don\'t accept paid placement, sponsored reviews, or "preferred partner" deals that would put a product in front of you because of payment rather than fit. Recommendations are editorial; ad slots are clearly labeled "Sponsored."

Display ads

A small number of pages run a single Google AdSense slot. AdSense ads are personalized using AdSense\'s own cookies; manage your preferences at adssettings.google.com.
